Beginning in the late 70's, Miri-based Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit Sdn. Bhd. (PPK) established itself as a humble construction and development company in Miri. Throughout these years, PPK has expanded and is now a well diversified company in the Shin Yang Group with its main core of business activities involving in property development, building construction, civil engineering works such as roads, bridges and marine structures construction work.

Presently, PPK has the capacity and fully qualify to undertake various large scale projects in diversified fields as indicated by its registration with the various National and State Government Regulating Authorities such as UPK Class AAAA Contractor for State Contracts, PKK Class A Contractor in all heads for Federal Contracts and CIDB G7 unlimited Category.

Apart from the above, PPK is also involved in construction products manufacturing such as precast concrete products, light weight concrete, concrete pavers, cement sand bricks, concrete piles, supplier of ready-mixed concrete, manufacturer of hot-mixed asphaltic concrete pavement, supplier of sand and stone aggregates and others. In 2001, PPK obtained the ISO 9002 certification in manufacturing of paving blocks and cement bricks, production and delivery of ready-mixed concrete.
